Ms. Vee, a dynamic musician and singer from Forrest City, Arkansas, began her musical journey at the age of 10 as a piano student at Lorenzo's School of Contemporary Music. Under the guidance of Lorenzo and Jackie Toney Smith, she quickly demonstrated her exceptional ear for music and joined their blues/jazz band. This early exposure laid the foundation for her career in music, where she has become known for her powerful vocals and soulful performances.
Ms. Vee leads "Ms. Vee & a Badass Band," a group that has been shaking up the Pacific Northwest music scene. The band, which includes accomplished Portland-area musicians like Jake Koprowski (Music Director/Bass), Chance Hayden (Lead Guitar), Ron Solomon (Keyboard/Organ), and Terrell Reed (Drums), delivers high-energy performances that blend blues, jazz, and soul.
A two-time semifinalist in the International Blues Challenge and a Best Female Vocalist nominee, Ms. Vee has earned recognition for her captivating stage presence and heartfelt music.
