We sat down with Micah Pueschel, lead vocalist and guitarist of Iration, at Reggae Rise Up Oregon 2026 for a conversation about where the band has been, where it is headed, and what it means to return to the sounds that started it all.
Micah talks about Iration’s latest album, Where It All Began, the island influences and early records that helped shape the band, bringing new music into a set filled with longtime fan favorites, and maintaining a strong connection with listeners after nearly two decades.
The conversation also touches on songs and collaborations including “Roots,” “Say Goodnight,” and “Stay Positive,” the energy surrounding Iration’s Sunday performance at Reggae Rise Up Oregon, and the band’s next chapter on the Where It All Began Summer Tour.
