Yellowcard

Yellowcard is an American pop-punk and alternative rock band best known for blending energetic punk melodies with the distinctive use of violin, a rarity in the genre. Formed in the late 1990s in Jacksonville, the band rose to mainstream success in the early 2000s with the release of their breakthrough album Ocean Avenue, which featured hit songs like Ocean Avenue and Only One. Known for heartfelt lyrics, anthemic choruses, and emotionally driven songwriting, Yellowcard became a defining act of the pop-punk era while carving out a unique identity through the contributions of violinist Sean Mackin. Despite lineup changes and periods of hiatus, the band has maintained a devoted fanbase and lasting influence within the genre.
